ABOUT EECA WARMER KIWI HOMES

The EECA "Warmer Kiwi Homes" heating programme enables eligible homeowners efficent home heating. This programme provides qualifying eligible Wanganui Homeowners* with 80% Home heating grants, the remaining 20% to be payable by the Homeowner.

The  program provides 80% grants to cover the cost of a lounge heatpump makeing homes warmer, drier and healthier for those living in them.

To be eligible for an 80% Warmer Kiwi Home grant for Wanganui you will need to be the homeowner (owner-occupier) of a home built before 2008, AND

• have a Community Services Card or SuperGold combo card, OR

• own and be living in a home in an area identified as lower-income,
